Current Water Rights Dispute with the Penobsot Nation
A few years ago, the Penobscot Nation was locked in a lawsuit regarding their water rights and the quality of the Penobscot River. People living on Indian Island mostly eat fish they have caught from the river and were concerned about the fish being contaminated by pollutants from the river. Together we will look into the issue further and how it was affecting the nation. On your own please record your answers on your analysis sheet.
