Today, Native American Nations are still facing struggles to be treated equally and work fairly with the U.S. Government. One of the most well known issues in current events right now is the Dakota Access Pipeline. We will be examining this issue today as well as looking at the history of the Sioux tribe to help us understand how reforms of the past impact current events.
